Our Physiotherapy Services

Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or an elite athlete, injuries happen – but they don’t have to hold you back. Our sports rehab programs are tailored to your sport, body, and goals. We combine hands-on treatment, movement analysis, and progressive rehab strategies to guide you through every phase of recovery and help prevent future injury. From acute strains and sprains to overuse injuries, we’ll help you get back to doing what you love. Our team of Sports Physiotherapists have special interest areas in managing shoulder pain, hip pain, athletic back pain and knee pain.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy focuses on the treatment of pain and dysfunction related to muscles, joints, ligaments, and bones. This includes common issues such as back and neck pain, shoulder problems, headaches, and joint stiffness. Our team will thoroughly assess your movement patterns, identify contributing factors, and create a treatment plan combining manual therapy, targeted exercise, education, and posture/movement retraining.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Recovering from surgery requires the right balance of guidance, support, and progressive loading. We provide structured rehab programs to help you regain mobility, strength, and function after orthopaedic procedures such as knee reconstructions, shoulder repairs, spinal surgery, and joint replacements. We’ll work in collaboration with your surgeon and tailor your recovery to your individual needs and goals.

Exercise Prescription & Movement Analysis

Movement quality is key to injury prevention and performance. We conduct detailed biomechanical assessments to evaluate how your body moves – identifying imbalances, weaknesses, or dysfunctional patterns. Based on these findings, we’ll design a personalised exercise program that builds strength, improves mobility, and enhances functional performance in everyday life or sport.

Manual Therapy & Dry Needling

Hands-on treatment techniques are often used to relieve pain, restore range of motion, and improve tissue health. Our physiotherapists are skilled in a variety of manual therapy approaches, including joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, and trigger point therapy. Where appropriate, dry needling may also be used to reduce muscular tension, stimulate healing, and assist with pain relief.

Physiotherapy Rehab – Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a key part of our physiotherapy rehabilitation offering at PROmotion Health. Delivered by trained physiotherapists, Clinical Pilates uses controlled, low-impact exercises to improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and movement control. We combine this with strength training to improve function. It is ideal for people recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to improve overall functional movement. Our programs are personalised to your needs and are especially effective for neck and back pain, shoulder, hip and knee joint strength, and general injury prevention.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

During your first consultation, we’ll take the time to get to know you – your body, your goals, and your challenges. After a comprehensive assessment, we’ll explain your diagnosis clearly and work with you to develop a treatment and rehab plan that fits into your lifestyle. Education and movement are central to what we do – so you’ll leave feeling informed, supported, and empowered.
