Growing up immersed in sports, Maddeson developed a profound interest in rehabilitation, driven by personal experiences with musculoskeletal injuries. Her academic journey at Notre Dame University solidified this passion, culminating in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Exercise Physiology, respectively.

Maddeson’s education underscored the significance of pre and post-rehabilitation, prompting her to expand her skill set with certifications in Clinical Pilates. This integration of disciplines enables her to seamlessly incorporate Pilates exercises into rehabilitation programs, ensuring holistic and effective treatment.

With a focus on bone health and eating disorders, Maddeson prioritises safety and individualised care in exercise prescriptions. Drawing from her extensive experience across diverse conditions, from musculoskeletal issues to cardiac and metabolic concerns, she places emphasis on client education, empowering them to actively engage in their recovery journey. As a dedicated leader, Maddeson oversees the Exercise Physiology team, ensuring continued education and delivery of quality patient-centered care.
