Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Program

Discover the transformative benefits of our Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Program, crafted in alignment with the pioneering Good Life with Arthritis Denmark (GLA:D®) initiative.

What does GLA:D involve?

Developed from extensive research, this program is specifically tailored for the treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis. Participants have reported significant reductions in pain, medication usage, and the perceived need for surgery, resulting in enhanced confidence in joint function and everyday activities.

Our evidence-based approach emphasises functional exercises aimed at strengthening muscles and improving movement patterns. By empowering participants with knowledge and skills to self-manage their condition, the GLA:D® program fosters greater capacity for staying active and preventing symptom progression. Our goal is to equip you with the tools needed to reclaim your quality of life and engage fully in the activities you enjoy.

assessment & group sessions

The initial assessment comprises of a 45-minute individual consultation with a GLA:D® trained Exercise Physiologist. They will introduce the program, discuss your specific condition, obtain a full medical history and undertake an assessment of your current functional ability and to measure muscular strength. Once completed, join the 60-minute Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis group sessions that run throughout the week.

Join us on the journey to a healthier, more fulfilling life with our Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Program.
