Simen is an experienced musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with a strong background in helping people overcome both acute and long-standing pain. He has particular expertise in spinal conditions — including lower back and neck pain — as well as shoulder injuries, persistent pain presentations and sports-related injuries.

Holding dual master’s degrees in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (University of Bergen, Norway) and Sports Physiotherapy (Curtin University), along with bachelor degrees in Physiotherapy and Sport Sciences, Simen brings over 10 years of clinical experience to his role. He has worked within multidisciplinary teams alongside orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists and psychologists, giving him a broad and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation.

Simen has also worked with elite sport, including three seasons as physiotherapist for the Norwegian Men’s Alpine Ski Team, and has supported athletes in volleyball, gymnastics, athletics and soccer at national and international levels.

Passionate about ongoing learning and sharing knowledge, Simen contributes to the profession through teaching, podcast appearances and his educational platform thescandiphysio.com. Outside the clinic, he enjoys strength training, running, triathlon and travelling.
