Jay joins the PROmotion Health team from Canberra, where he earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. During his time in Canberra, Jay worked as a physiotherapist with several sporting teams, including Women’s First Grade AFL, Men’s Rugby Union, and Volleyball Australia. He developed extensive experience in rehabilitating long-term injuries such as ACL, meniscus, achilles, syndesmosis, shoulders, and more.
Jay is passionate about sport and has been involved as a player and coach. He has represented U21 Australian Hockey teams at multiple international tournaments and is currently a Canberra Chill Men’s hockey team member. His first-hand experience in sports and rehabilitation allows him to understand the unique demands athletes face, fueling his passion for sports physiotherapy.
Jay has a strong interest in the management of shoulder, lower limb, and sports injury rehabilitation. He is committed to helping individuals of all backgrounds achieve their goals and return to their active lives, offering personalised care to ensure the best outcomes for each patient.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through hockey, golf, running, walking his dog, and surfing. He’s also an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying a wide range of sports in his downtime.
