Jake brings a unique blend of experience from both the world of elite sport and physiotherapy. Since 2017, he has pursued his passion for health and human performance, achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University, all while competing internationally as a member of the Australian Men’s Hockey Team, the Kookaburras. As an Olympian and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist with over 100 games representing Australia, Jake has firsthand experience in high-performance environments and understands the demands on the body.
His extensive experience with high-level sports fuels his passion for helping others optimise their health and achieve their personal best. At PROmotion Health, Jake collaborates with clients to design personalised rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement programs tailored to their goals.
Jake’s relationship with PROmotion Health started nearly a decade ago through Pilates rehabilitation, which he credits for enhancing his own athletic career. This journey has inspired his dedication to helping clients build a deeper connection with their bodies, empowering them to move better and achieve their goals.
In his free time, Jake stays active through hockey, running, Pilates, weight training, yoga, and surfing. He is dedicated to living a healthy, active life and brings this same energy to his clients, guiding them on their path to optimised health and peak performance.
Trust Jake to support and inspire you on your journey to a life in movement!
