Emily is on a path of continuous learning and professional growth, currently pursuing her Sports Medicine Masters at the University of Melbourne, while holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Notre Dame University. Her journey into sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal injuries, and movement began with a Bachelor of Sport Science, laying the foundation for her specialised interests.
With a keen focus on sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Emily has garnered valuable experience working with AFL teams. Her ongoing pursuit of knowledge led her to embark on a Masters of Sports Medicine, where she delves deeper into her passion for sports-related injuries and prevention.
Emily’s journey has reinforced the transformative power of rehabilitation through movement and injury prevention. Certified in Polestar Pilates, she leverages her expertise in movement to prevent injuries and facilitate rehabilitation effectively.
Emily finds fulfillment in assisting individuals with running injuries, particularly knee and hip issues, as well as other sports-related injuries. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their goals through education and movement-based interventions.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Emily embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying gym workouts, running with her toddler and kelpie, skiing, and exploring the stunning landscapes of South West WA.
