Colin is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He graduated with Honours from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) in 2004 before completing a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2015. Colin is a Titled Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and an Accredited Member of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.
Colin’s career spans elite sport, hospital leadership, and private practice. He has worked within professional football environments in both the UK and Australia, including Perth Glory and Brentford Football Club. Alongside his sporting background, Colin has held senior roles within the public health system, most recently leading Musculoskeletal Outpatient Services at Fremantle Hospital, where he oversaw outpatient, orthopaedic, and complex rehabilitation services.
In addition to clinical practice, Colin is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Notre Dame, contributing to the education of future physiotherapists and maintaining close alignment with current research and best practice.
Clinically, Colin combines hands-on treatment with targeted strength and conditioning principles. He places strong emphasis on ensuring patients understand their condition, the contributing factors, and the rationale behind their management. Having experienced his own share of injuries, Colin appreciates the frustrations injury can bring and works closely with patients to restore confidence, function, and performance.
Outside of work, Colin is a keen naturalist who once considered a career in zoology. He still enjoys kicking a football around, albeit with slightly less ability these days. Colin is also an avid Arsenal supporter and admits his mood may occasionally reflect their results.
