Amanda’s journey in physiotherapy began with her degree at Notre Dame in Fremantle, following on she discovered her passion for Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy while working in Private Practice. Her dedication to rehabilitation was amplified through hands-on experiences locally and internationally, fostering close connections with athletes.

Returning from her enriching stints in Canada and New Zealand, Amanda pursued a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. Driven by her love for sports and a desire to optimise athletes’ performance, she has become adept at diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries.

Amanda’s expertise has seen her in pivotal roles with renowned sporting organisations such as the WACA, West Coast Fever, and Netball Australia. Currently serving as a Performance Physiotherapist and Performance Health Manager at WAIS, she also holds the esteemed position of team Physiotherapist for Artistic Swimming Australia.

While Amanda excels in managing various musculoskeletal and sports injuries, she has developed a keen interest in knee and shoulder injuries, athletic low back pain, concussion, and the nuances of female athleticism. Continuously enhancing her knowledge, Amanda is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Performance Health Management through the University of Canberra and AIS.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Amanda finds joy in the motion of chasing after her energetic young boys, swimming, skiing, and exploring the pristine waters of Western Australia’s coastline. Trust Amanda to guide you on your journey to optimal performance and recovery.
