However, exercising during pregnancy requires careful consideration and modifications to ensure the safety and health of both you and your baby. 

At PROmotion Health our specialised Pelvic Health team offer FREE educational sessions covering the body, postural and exercise changes which occur during pregnancy. How to modify your exercise during pregnancy and postpartum, to maintain yours and your baby’s health, reduce pregnancy related aches and pains and reduce pelvic floor changes.  

During your pregnancy your body is changing to accommodate your baby and promote growth and development. Postpartum your body is prioritising feeding your baby. Breastfeeding comes with its own challenges and effects on your body. This includes blocked ducts, mastitis, cracked nipples, postural changes, hormonal effects on other structures in your body and limitations to exercise.  

Join our specialised Pelvic Health team for our FREE Breastfeeding educational session to cover these complications of breastfeeding and how Physiotherapy can support your journey. Attending this session while you are currently pregnant is the perfect time to arm yourself with the knowledge going into your postpartum period.
